Two years ago was my first year at camp. One of the girls there was extremely good at Spanish, and spoke it a lot! In our cabin, the boys had put up signs on their door that said, "No Girls Allowed." So, Monica, our Spanish chica, put up a sign on our door that said, "No Chicos Allowed." She made sure that we girls knew the difference between chicas and chicos, so it was really funny to us when the boys came out of their room, began saying, "We're NOT chicos!" at the top of their lungs. Monica then responded, "Okay, then you're chicas!" At this the boys went super crazy screaming, "NO, NO, NO, We're chicos, we're chicos!" It was positively fantastic!
